Relationships

Pupils will explore different types  of relationships such as sexual consent, healthy relationships and online media. Students will have the opportunity to read case study scenario's and think of alternative outcomes.

 

Equality and Diversity

They will look at various topics such as policies, race, gender, sexuality, and culture. and unconscious and conscious bias

​Direct and indirect discrimination will be explored.

 

Culture day

A day to celebrate different cultures and learn about them. In this session we will explore different cultures, backgrounds and learn about languages, food , and policies.

Mental Health Awareness

 We will explore  different types of mental health illnesses through research and resources.  They  will have the opportunity to do presentations in small groups base on the research they have done. We will also look at drugs and alcohol and the effects it has on the wellbeing of individuals.

Bullying

 

We  will explore different types of bullying through activities and case studies. Students will then present them to the group.  Staff training will also be provided to support students on bullying. E Safety is also a topic we discuss focusing on the importance of using the internet and social media safely.

Career guidance 

Students will look at policies in the work place.

Students will look at different careers and paths for progression. This will help them  to prepare  for future employment.
